“Words can not express how grateful I am to have worked with Lovein Ribman, in particular Nick Messina. (Luckily) I don’t deal with lawyers on a regular basis but if I did, Nick has set the bar in terms of my expectations. Super professional, prompt, proactive. Always feel that I was a priority and not just a number. Beyond that, Nick is a smart and savvy lawyer and the result was more than I could have ever hoped for! I only speak highly of my experience with him.”

“I sent a request on their website at night asking for someone to contact me about a legal issue. Promptly at 0900 the next morning I had a call from one of the lawyers. After a few minutes he asked me to send him some files and I was hiring them in under an hour. They were up front with pricing and how everything worked. I will be recommending Lovein Ribman to everyone I can. Addendum – Nick Messina was who helped me out.”

About Matt Amos

I moved to the small town of Decatur, Texas at the end of grade school. After graduating from Decatur High School, I obtained a Bachelor’s in Sociology with a minor in Applied Gerontology from UNT. I graduated magna cum laude from UNT and immediately attended Baylor University School of Law on a full tuition scholarship. Upon finishing the challenging capstone Practice Court courses unique to Baylor, I graduated in the top 20% of my class. I passed the bar and became licensed in 2015. I immediately began litigating at a Houston firm that handled a wide variety of litigation, including employment law, large FLSA collective actions, trade secrets, emergency injunction practice, and personal injury.

Shortly before the birth of my first son (in 2017), I made my way back to North Texas to the reputable litigation firm, Touchstone Bernays. I handled cases all around the State of Texas focusing largely on construction litigation and trucking litigation, among other miscellaneous business matters. I represented general contractors, subcontractors of all types, and designers, in cases dealing with just a few thousand in dispute, to well over $30,000,000.

I take seriously my role to defend my clients and their businesses from spurious claims and to otherwise diligently prosecute my clients’ claims.

When I am not working, I spend time with my wife, beautiful baby girl, and two young sons. When not spending time with family, I read history and sociological literature and play war games.
